Release Notes: Perimeter Web App, Version 1.20

The Perimeter team is constantly working to enhance our application(s) based on customer feedback and identified bugs. The latest production version of the Perimeter Web Application will be released on April 22, 2025, and will not require any user updates. This version includes new features and bug fixes:

New Features & Functionality

• Perimeter now supports bulk updates of map data. Admins can bulk update the Visibility & Status of previously published data. Please see the user guide for a detailed walkthrough of this feature.
• Coordinate search is now supported in the search bar. Users can now search latitude and longitude points to center the map on a specific location using the WGS84 coordinate system.
• The population estimate has been separated into Day Time and Night Time population estimates. This data is based on ORNL Landscan USA 2021 Data, and will help your teams make the most accurate & informed decisions about a selected area.

UI & UX Improvements

• Hovering over the team name now displays additional information including: team name, status & team ID.
• Deployed teams are now denoted by a cloud icon next to team name.
• We have redesigned the buttons & placement for the right hand map buttons in the web app. These enhancements are intended to improve the navigation experience and expedite the data creation process. The change will affect the following buttons: Create New Data, Map Options, Locate User, Reload and Zoom +/-. It also includes hover over labels for each button, further enhancing accessibility.
