Perimeter hired Van Riviere as Chief Development Officer, effective July 1, 2023.
As CDO, Van will bring his expertise in public safety, emergency management, and government SaaS to ensure exceptional product and customer support for all Perimeter users. Van has already been instrumental in working alongside Perimeter CEO Bailey Farren on market expansion and deployment strategies.
As President and CEO of Tablet Command, Van led the company from an early stage startup to an industry-leading solution provider. Over the course of his eight year tenure, Tablet Command grew to serve more than 600 agencies across North America.
Van is one of several critical hires made by Perimeter after their $4.4 million crowdfunding campaign closed in May 2023. With active deployments across eight counties, Perimeter’s ongoing growth will benefit from Van’s decades of experience as a Fire Chief and leader in public safety technology.
“I have, and will always be focused on the welfare of the team, and by extension the welfare and needs of the customers we serve,” Van stated. “I am pleased and proud to be a part of the Perimeter organization as we provide innovative and disruptive solutions to the public safety community.”
Van spent 17 years with the Stockton Fire Department. He retired from the department in 2014 as Battalion Chief before joining Tablet Command.
