Perimeter CEO Bailey Farren closed out Wednesday’s PitchForce event in Sunnyvale, taking home the top two awards of the evening and securing an invitation to their next pitch event.

At this weekly event, held in the Bay Area, ten startups were invited to showcase their products for panelists and audience members. Farren was awarded both the People’s Choice award, voted for by all attendees, and the Best Pitch award, decided by a panel of angel investors and venture capital firms.

In addition to receiving both of the event’s recognitions, event organizers invited Perimeter to return for the first Series A Round PitchForce event next Wednesday, February 19. Next week’s event will be held at the Runway Innovation Hub in San Francisco.

PeopleConnect, a recruiting firm that helps startups find potential hires, hosts the PitchForce events to connect early-stage tech startups with potential investors. The audience selects six companies to each give a four-minute pitch, with the top presenter winning a full pitch session with the sponsoring venture capitalist.

Perimeter, along with four other companies, was selected to advance directly to the four-minute pitch round following the initial product showcase. The remaining startups presented one-minute elevator pitches to the panelists, with the top presenter selected to participate in the four-minute round.
