Release Notes: Perimeter Internal Web App Update

staffPerimeter Staff – February 24, 2026

We are excited to announce the release of a new Mode and Module in the Perimeter suite of solutions. On Wednesday February 25, 2026, we’ll be releasing Insights Mode with our Incident Replay module to the Perimeter Internal Web App (app.perimetermap.com). We will also be deploying usability improvements in Response Mode.

Insights Mode

Insights Mode gives administrators a dedicated place to review historical data and past incidents, without adding complexity to the live response map. It supports after-action reporting and analysis while keeping Response Mode focused on real-time operations.

About Insights Mode:

  • A new administrator mode for historical data review.

  • This mode will be a foundation for future analytics modules.

  • Supports the separation of analytics workflows from the live response map.

  • Active response data is hidden in Insights mode and cannot be modified.

New Module in Insight Mode

Incident Replay

Incident Replay lets administrators step back in time and view any zone, route, or point exactly as it appeared during an incident.

  • Date-range selector: choose any start and end date to see data within that range.

  • Interactive time slider: drag the slider to see updates over time.

Point in Time Information: click any feature to open its info panel exactly as it existed at that time – including users, timestamps, and status.

New Features in Response Mode

Bulk Upload Users

Admins can now bulk upload users via .csv or .xlsx file. The required format is 2 columns titled Email and Role. Users without a specified role default to User.

Data Export

Admins can now export selected data directly from Browse Data as a GeoJSON file for use in other tools or teams.

As always, please contact Van Riviere at van@perimeterplatform.com or by phone at (209) 483-1513 if you have questions or encounter challenges of any kind.

Sincerely,
The Perimeter Team
