Perimeter concludes $4.4 million crowdfunding campaign

Perimeter raised $4.4 million using the crowdfunding platform Wefunder in May 2023 following an endorsement from Jeff Brown of Brownstone Research.

Led by Ken Singer of the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, the round was funded by over 4,000 investors and received international attention from professionals in law enforcement, fire, and OES agencies.

This funding enabled the Perimeter team to make critical hires, support new deployments and partnerships across the United States, and open a Bay Area office space effective June 1, 2023.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled about leveraging a crowdfunding model for our seed round,” CEO Bailey Farren stated following the campaign. “Having so many investors across the United States will open doors into communities we otherwise wouldn’t be able to reach.”

Most recently, the Perimeter Platform aided first responders with mass flooding across Central California. The team will be working closely with public safety agencies throughout the 2023 fire season to prepare for future activations.
